Camden, NJ (LifeNews.com) — Parents in New Jersey are coming under fire for seeing abortion as the answer to the problem of a pregnant 11 year-old girl who was a victim of sexual abuse. This latest case highlights the growing concern over the use of abortion as a means of covering up cases of statutory rape.

On Thursday, officials detained 43 year-old Kevin Styles and held him on $100,000 bail. The Forest Hill Elementary School cafeteria worker has been charged with sexually assaulting an unnamed girl.

The Camden County Prosecutor’s Office also confirmed it has 32 year-old Hasan L. Wilson in custody for allegations that he, too, raped the girl, who is now 13, over a three year period.

In a hearing before Superior Court Judge John McNeill III, Styles admitted to having sexual relations with the girl over a long-term period.

According to the Courier-Post newspaper, the girl eventually complained to her parents that she had stomach pains. They took her to a physician who confirmed she was pregnant.

The first response of the parents was to take her to a local abortion business for an abortion, but it declined because the girl was well over six months into the pregnancy.

Both men could face 20 years in prison for the assaults and they are being held in Camden County Jail during awaiting trial.
