San Francisco, CA (LifeNews.com) — A Planned Parenthood abortion business in California has quietly removed a cartoon video promoting violence against pro-life advocates that has drawn national outrage. The video is still available through the direct link and at the web site of Nick Vasallo. who composed the music for the video.

The cartoon features a pro-abortion "superhero" who travels to different locations across the country to promote abortion and oppose abstinence education.

In one scene, the character uses a gun to envelop pro-life protesters outside a Planned Parenthood in a condom. The condom explodes, killing the pro-life advocates, and the character expresses her satisfaction.

At the end of the video, a pro-life person is shown being decapitated.

Calls and emails to Steve Smith, director of media relations and communications for Planned Parenthood Golden Gate, were not returned. Neither was an email sent to Nick Vasallo, the video’s producer.

Pia de Solenni, director of life and women’s issues at Family Research Council, says the video is hypocritical because abortion advocates frequently accuse pro-life groups of supporting abortion-related violence.

"NARAL is doing ads blasting John Roberts and accusing him of promoting violence in abortion clinics, which he has not," de Solenni told Christianity Today. "And at the same time you have Planned Parenthood clearly promoting violence against anyone that thinks differently than they do. The irony is just striking."

De Solenni told CT the campaign is more offensive because the abortion business receives funding from the government.

"Why is Planned Parenthood receiving so much federal funding when this is the type of stuff they’re promoting," she asked.

According to a 2004 report from Planned Parenthood Golden Gate, it receives 53 percent of its revenue from government fees and contracts.

A representative of the Planned Parenthood Federation of America told CT that it was not familiar with the California affiliate’s video.

In the video, music reminiscent of doomsday booming introduces the cartoon and Planned Parenthood’s self-described mission. An African-American woman dressed as a superhero begins her journey in California promoting contraception and birth control.

She tells viewers that pro-life people often protest outside Planned Parenthood and claims they "can sometimes become unruly."

“But mostly, I just wish they would disappear," the character says.

Next, the "Superhero for Choice" shoots each protester with a gun that envelopes the pro-life person in a condom. The condoms explode and the protesters die.

The abortion activist cartoon character happily explains that, with the death of the protesters, people can now visit the abortion business "without intimidation or violence."

Planned Parenthood Golden Gate is the abortion facility that distributed the dangerous abortion pill to teenager Holly Patterson — ultimately killing her.
