Worcester, MA (LifeNews.com) -- Continuing on the trend the nation's largest abortion business has started in other cities, the Planned Parenthood League of Massachusetts is demolishing its current two-story abortion facility in Worcester. PPLM will replace it with a larger 33,000 square-foot three-story abortion center.

The pro-abortion group currently has its offices at 470 Pleasant St., but will build the new facility on Pleasant Street, near Park Avenue.

The group says it is a more centralized location that is closer to public transportation and will allow it to expand on its already high volume of customers.

Jackie Mansfield-Marcoux, a PPLM spokeswoman, told the Telegram and Gazette newspaper, "We had more than 10,000 patient visits to our Worcester health center last year."

“Community demand for our services continues to grow, and building this health center will allow us to meet that demand in a more convenient location,” she said.

The new abortion business comes on the heels of the leading pro-abortion group building controversial new facilities in Aurora, Illinois; Denver, Colorado; and Portland Oregon.

It has also moved ahead with the building of a new massive abortion center in Houston, Texas that could be the largest in the nation and have an entire floor dedicated to late-term abortions.

Planned Parenthood's new center in Houston will come in at around 78,000 square feet - larger than the Denver center (50,000) or the new abortion business in Aurora (22,000).
