Washington,
DC (LifeNews.com) -- A group that monitors companies that invest
in abortion and other immoral practices has launched a new web site
to help pro-life investors. The MoralMoney.com
web site helps the pro-life investor or retiree who wants to make
sure their investment portfolio doesn't include pro-abortion corporations.
Mark Minnella, the president of the company producing the web site, tells LifeNews.com that Christian and pro-life advocates have become more conscious over the years about where their money goes.
Unfortunately, and often unknowingly, they have invested their retirement accounts and other investments in companies that are funding Planned Parenthood and other pro-abortion groups or those that engage in embryonic stem cell research.
Minnella says he started the MoralMoney web site to teach investment stewardship to pro-life people who are morally conscious about their money.
By purchasing stock in companies and funds that have been screened by MoralMoney.com's free screening software, pro-life advocates can avoid objectionable firms in their portfolio.
As pro-life advocates embrace moral investing, "it is important that everyone has access to the information they need to ensure that they are not investing Gods money in activities that would be offensive to Him," Minnella told LifeNews.com.
"By offering these services, free to the public, we can ensure that even those without a professional Christian advisor can be sure that their portfolio is honoring to Christ," he said.
The MoralMoney web site, along with groups like Life Decisions International that also monitor corporations and charitable groups that fund pro-abortion organizations, pro-life advocates have a wealth of information at their fingertips.
And
with millions of dollars at their disposal already to do abortions
and influence elections and the abortion debate, pro-life advocates
know Planned Parenthood needs less money, not more.
