The Pro Life Campaign has announced plans for an exciting new initiative called the MonthForLife which will take place on an annual basis every October.

The aim of the MonthForLife is to highlight the pro-life issue, educate the public and engage and motivate pro-life supporters all over Ireland.

monthforlifeDifferent events and activities will take place throughout the country, beginning on 1st October 2014.  These will include public talks, participation in Church events supporting the pro-life initiative, workshops, hiking trips and other social activities.

The MonthForLife will have a strong online presence also, with the publication of new reading material and other pro-life information.

One of the highlights of the MonthForLife will be the Pro Life Campaign National Conference which takes place in the RDS in Dublin on Saturday, 11th October 2014.  It promises to be a great day.  Speakers include Julia Holcomb, (the former girlfriend of Aerosmith’s Steve Tyler), who will talk about her personal experience of abortion regret; Roger Kiska, a lawyer with the Alliance Defending Freedom based in Vienna and Dr. Kevin Fitzpatrick OBE, Director of the Euthanasia Prevention Coalition International. There will also be contributions from spokespeople with the Pro Life Campaign.

The Conference is always a hugely motivating event for activists around the country and participants are encouraged to register on the Pro Life Campaign website here.

In the years ahead, the MonthForLife will prove to be an annual galvanising event for pro-life supporters in Ireland.  Dedicating one month of the year to this most vital cause – the cause of Life and how best to protect it, born and unborn – is the very least we can all do.   In the constant battle to ensure that all human beings deserve the protection and support that they need, the MonthForLife will be a very effective tool.
