Social media giant Twitter continues to come under criticism from pro-life advocates and conservatives over its censorship. In the latest case, Twitter suspended the account of a conservative blogger known for her pro-life opinions despite not producing any evidence to substantiate its claims she abrogated twitter policies.

Kathleen McKinley is a Texas-based conservative blogger who is outspoken about her pro-life views and her viewpoints on other hot political issues. Although she is very civil and respectful in her conversations with others, Twitter on Friday suspended her account. However, the social media company provided no indication as to why her account was suspended and produced nothing to back the decision in terms of evidence of her violating Twitter rules or regulations.

McKinley, who has frequently posted content from LifeNews on her Twitter account, produced an image showing Twitter has suspended her account:

According to Newsbusters, two tweets she posted with her views on controversial political issues led to her suspension:

On Friday, July 27, conservative commentator Kathleen McKinley discovered her Twitter account had been suspended. She was told she had “violated our rules against ‘hateful conduct.’” The two tweets that had been reported as “hateful” were tweets about transgenderism being a mental disorder, and a tweet that had been taken out of context that spoke of Muslim “honor killings.”

She was not originally notified of the suspension, nor was she able to appeal to Twitter to get the suspension lifted. In an interview with the Media Research Center, McKinley said, “I’ve always been very civil. In my blogs, I wouldn’t allow anyone in the comments to curse or disrespect anyone. The idea that I would say anything hateful is ridiculous.”

Although nothing in McKinley’s tweets appeared to have broken Twitter rules for harassment, hate directed at her by political opponents clearly has:

Yet, even though Twitter was quick to punish her for stating her views, they seem to have ignored all the threatening, harassing tweets McKinley has received from hostile Twitter users. One of the tweets told her “go f— herself” while another tweet called her a “racist c—.” Neither of these tweets have been removed or taken down.

This ban happened as Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey claims Twitter is focusing on producing “healthy conversation.” How can that be when civil pro-life conservatives are banned and left-win abortion activists haters are allowed to harass people without accountability.
