A candidate running for Wisconsin governor released an ad this week showing her advocate for abortion while holding her infant daughter.

Pro-abortion Democrat Kelda Roys displayed both her young daughters prominently in the new TV ad, released Thursday, the AP reports.

Roys described herself as a “champion” for the “right to choose” – meaning she will fight to keep abortions legal for any reason up to birth. Her ad also features images of Planned Parenthood and NARAL, two of the most prominent pro-abortion groups in America.

“As a parent, I think about my daughters,” Roys says in the ad. “I tell my girls we can’t look backwards. We have to move forward. We have to build the future we want.”

The ad also shows images of President Donald Trump nominating Judge Brett Kavanaugh to the U.S. Supreme Court as Roys says, “Just when you think it can’t get any worse, it does.”

Beside her tasteless promotion of the killing of unborn babies by using her young daughters, Roys also was called out by the AP for making misleading statements in the ad.

According to the report:

Roys incorrectly implies that it’s illegal to get an abortion in Wisconsin. She says “in Wisconsin, abortion is still a crime.”

The state has an abortion ban that predates the Roe v. Wade Supreme Court decision that legalized abortion. The law can’t be enforced, but abortion-rights supporters fear it would go into effect if the Supreme Court overturns the Roe decision.

Her campaign spokesperson said they spent six figures on the ads, which will run in Milwaukee, Madison and Green Bay.
