Abortion Activists Say You’re Racist if You Oppose Sex-Selection Abortions

At the risk of stating the superabundantly obvious, I am hardly the target audience for another pro-abortion Jeremiah posted at Rewire News under the scorching headline, ”Sex-Selective Abortion Bans Aren’t Just Racist—They’re Unconstitutional.”

We’ve discussed this drivel before. Sung Yeon Choimorrow offers nothing new, just the usual, usual.

Don’t look at the hundreds of millions of girls worldwide who are “missing” because they were aborted because they were girl. Or murdered after they were born, because they were not boys.

So how do they divert attention? They attempt to delegitimize legitimate opposition to sex-selection abortion by playing the race card.

It’s really ugly and low even by their standards.

This gibberish is even more inappropriate than usual, appearing as it does today.

On Wednesday we wrote a story about how Karachi, Pakistan, is becoming a killing field for newborn girls.” To the Sung Yeon Choimorrows of this world, this is an irrelevancy.

How often do we find in the United States what Edhi foundation and Chhipa Welfare organisation discovered—“345 new born babies dumped in garbage in Karachi” between January 2017 to April 2018. “And 99 percent of them were girls.”

So if the following doesn’t apply to us

As many as 72 dead girls have been [found] buried in the first four months of this year by Edhi Foundation alone in the metropolitan city. The given data is just tip of the iceberg as Edhi foundation maintains the data of those cities where it provides services.

Chhipa Welfare Foundation, another NGO, came across 93 cases in Karachi where newborn girls were killed; around 70 babies in 2017 and 23 in this year.

Then no one has a foot to stand on.

Keep up with the latest pro-life news and information on Twitter.

One other quick thought. It’s not like the report out of Pakistan is an outlier or even that aborting babies because they are females is confined to South Asia.

A couple of years back a report came out from UNFPA’s office for Eastern Europe and Central Asia [ ]that revealed that an estimated 171,000 girls are ‘missing’ in South Caucasus and parts of South-East Europe while there is a growing surplus of men.

But, so what?“In fact, sex-selective bans are just the latest iteration of laws that aim to silence women and take away their bodily autonomy,” Choimorrow entones.

It’s important to remember that just as is the case with fetal pain legislation, there are certain proposed laws that strike a really sensitive nerve with pro-abortionists. Not because they touch a responsive chord of basic humanity, but because they raise justifiable fears that most citizens would be aghast if they knew the Planned Parenthoods of this world have no problem tearing apart babies who are capable of experiencing pain beyond anything we could imagine.

Keeping that a secret…at all costs…was worth every penny of the $957,952 in take-home pay Cecile Richards enjoyed in fiscal year 2014.
