A woman Planned Parenthood senior adviser was caught bullying a survivor of the Parkland, Florida school shooting and his date to the prom Thursday on Twitter.
The abortion chain has spoken out strongly against the shooting and became heavily invested in the march that followed in Washington, D.C., calling for stricter gun control laws, support for the victims and, ironically, an end to violence against children. Planned Parenthood also aborts more unborn babies than any other group in the U.S.
But Elizabeth Thorp, who says she is a Planned Parenthood senior adviser, took aim Thursday at Kyle Kashuv, a Parkland student who survived the shooting, on Twitter.
Why does @ElizabethEThorp feel bullying a Parkland survivor is okay? More importantly, why is she bullying my date? pic.twitter.com/BF3hnsMf0m

Earlier in the day, Thorp found Kashuv’s date to the prom on Twitter and decided to criticize the young man.
“Hard pass, sweet girl. You can do better,” she wrote on the young woman’s page.
When Kashuv responded by accusing Thorp, an adult in a powerful position, of bullying him and his date, Thorp doubled down.
Not bullying, Kyle.
Giving her some motherly advice after she publicly asked for help scoring a prom date. https://t.co/UxlpysOI2R

Apparently, it was not the first time Thorp wrote nasty comments about the young man. Kashuv shared a screen shot of a Daily Caller journalist catching Thorp refer to the young man as a “douche” on March 27.
Aren’t @PPFA advisors just lovely people? @ElizabetheThorp pic.twitter.com/CaKZSm0NWO

Kashuv, unlike Planned Parenthood and several other Parkland student survivors, has been a strong advocate of second amendment rights. Perhaps this is why Thorp had no problem degrading a young victim of violence publicly and why Planned Parenthood has not condemned Thorp’s comments or distanced itself from her.

Several Twitter users pointed out her hypocrisy:
Planned Parenthood Senior Adviser:
– Trolls girl wanting prom date with MSD survivor, @KyleKashuv
– Condemns twitter trolling 2 minutes later. Incredible pic.twitter.com/ChJKwfTgYg

Works for Planned Parenthood, talks about “motherly” advice. 🤔 Something’s not adding up.

No offense, but I don’t think anyone on Earth should take “Motherly” advice from a Planned Parenthood advisor. https://t.co/fYGm0IfQiW
