Killing unborn babies and abortion politics have become the top focuses of the abortion giant Planned Parenthood.
Yet, most people would not get that idea based on mainstream media reports. Readers are led to believe that Planned Parenthood is a wonderful health care group that focuses on providing key medical services to women and minorities.
Fast Company Magazine went down this avenue in a recent interview with abortion chain president Cecile Richards. The highly-paid CEO bragged about Planned Parenthood being a “life-saving” organization that goes above and beyond to help women.
The report never mentioned how Planned Parenthood destroys hundreds of unborn babies’ lives every day in abortions — it never mentioned abortion at all. Yet, in 2016, Planned Parenthood performed approximately 320,000 abortions, about one-third of all abortions in the U.S. and more than any other group in America.
Instead, it allowed Richards to brag through a vague anecdote:
When Planned Parenthood first started offering a text-chat service, Richards recalls, “a young woman texted us late at night and said, ‘I have no one to talk to.’ And we texted back and said, ‘We’re here to help you.’ And then she told us her story. She really did need to see a medical professional immediately, and we were able to make that appointment. And I’ll never forget—we texted at the end, ‘Do you have everything you need for now?’ And she said, just like a teenager would, ‘You have been a lifesaver,’ with a little smiley face emoticon. And then a couple minutes later she texted back, ‘But will you still be there later tonight if I need you?’ That, to me, is what Planned Parenthood is all about.”
Later, the report continued:

The report failed to mention how, in that same time, Richards’ salary more than doubled, while Planned Parenthood’s patient numbers dropped by about half a million and non-abortion health services shrank drastically. The “non-profit’s” latest annual report also shows historic profits of $98.5 million.
This data is all according to the abortion chain’s own reports. They are easily accessible online, but the mainstream media almost never bothers to fact check Planned Parenthood.
Last year, Planned Parenthood leaders even refused an offer to receive an increase in taxpayer funding if they stopped doing abortions. Richards called the offer “obscene and insulting,” making it very clear that abortion – not women’s health care – is Planned Parenthood’s true focus.
The abortion chain is not in the business of saving lives. It is in the business of destroying them and creating a powerful political arm to ensure it can continue destroying unborn babies’ lives for any reason at any time during pregnancy.
