Nearly three dozen Planned Parenthood facilities closed up shop in 2016, marking the latest in a too-slow but very steady decline in the group’s total number of abortion clinics.

According to the American Life League’s annual analysis of Planned Parenthood’s clinics, the abortion giant closed 32 of its locations in 2017, falling from 630 facilities in 2016 to 597 last year. Even more shockingly, ALL reports the number of Planned Parenthood clinics have dwindled by more than 40 percent since 1995, when the nation’s single largest abortion provider comprised nearly a thousand individual locations.

Nearly 60 percent of Planned Parenthood’s remaining clinics provide surgical and/or medical abortions.

“While the numbers continue to show an organization in decline, we do not expect it to go quietly into the night,” said ALL President Jim Sedlack. We expect that Planned Parenthood’s leaders, along with its bought-and-paid-for politicians, will continue to spread the lies and demand the American people pay tribute to this satanic organization. But, in the end, it will lose.”

The steady decline in Planned Parenthood clinics might end up being the tip of the ever-melting iceberg for the abortion giant, as the FBI has recently launched an investigation into Planned Parenthood and other abortion providers over their alleged illegal sale of fetal tissue and organs harvested from aborted children.
