Planned Parenthood opened a new abortion facility in Tampa, Florida this fall to promote abortion and risky sexual behavior to young people.

The Tampa Bay Times reports the abortion chain chose the location in North Tampa because of the high rates of teen pregnancy and sexually transmitted diseases in the area. The abortion facility, the second Planned Parenthood in the city, opened in October.

Despite the national affiliate reporting declining patient numbers, local Planned Parenthood leaders said they have witnessed a growing demand for their services in Florida. They said they hope to target local teens with information about sex, birth control and abortions.

“The biggest issue I see in Tampa Bay is that sex is still so stigmatized,” said Linnea Dewees, who promotes Planned Parenthood’s sex education programs in Tampa-area high schools and middle schools. “Most of my job is just coaching young people through their options and reminding them that we exist.”

Apparently, they hope to target college students as well. According to the report, the new abortion facility is close to the University of South Florida at Tampa. College-age women are the age group most likely to have an abortion.

“USF has its own student health services but some people might want more privacy than that, which we can give them here,” said Julia Chueh, who manages the new facility. “It’s important to us that patients feel safe here.”

Chueh said they expanded to the new location because their other Tampa abortion facility began seeing two-week waiting times for appointments.

Here’s more from the report:

There are two sizeable exam rooms and a recovery bay with several reclining chairs in the new Tampa clinic. The clinic has its own laboratory and several rooms and offices where patients can talk to Planned Parenthood doctors or counselors, or just breast feed in private. Patients waiting in recovery can watch Netflix from provided Amazon Kindles or enjoy the free Wifi.

Two doctors man the Tampa center, which offers a wide range of reproductive health services. That includes abortion, routine gynecological services like birth control prescriptions, cancer screenings and transgender hormone therapy. Every patient is screened by trained staff for intimate partner violence, Chueh said.

Planned Parenthood is the largest abortion provider in the United States, aborting more than 320,000 unborn babies every year. The abortion group’s own reports show its focus is not on women’s health care but on abortions. Non-abortion services have been dropping steadily at Planned Parenthood in the past decade, but its abortion numbers remain high.

The abortion chain also teaches sex education in public schools across the country, and promotes risky sexual behavior to vulnerable young teens at its clinics.

In 2014, Live Action release an undercover video series showing Planned Parenthood employees encouraging young teens to participate in sado-masochistic sexual activities, including gagging, whipping, asphyxiation, shopping at sex stores and viewing pornography.

What’s more, Planned Parenthood’s booklet for HIV-positive youth, “Healthy, Happy and Hot,” tells young people that it is their “human right” to not tell their partner that they have HIV, LifeNews reported.

The abortion giant also publishes multiple “resources” for children and teenagers concerning sexual activity. These materials claim to provide “age appropriate” sex education to children starting at age 4.

Planned Parenthood justifies starting sex-education at such a young age by stating, “Ideally, medical accurate sexuality education would be taught each year in our schools from pre-kindergarten to 12th grade.”
