Comedian Kathy Griffin said she’s “no longer sorry” for the photo of her holding a mask of President Donald Trump’s severed head. Appearing on an Australian news show, Griffin blamed Trump supporters for how she had lost “everything,” and called the outrage over the image “BS” and “blown out of proportion.”

Watch the video below–slight language warning:

Griffin also spoke about how figures like Chelsea Clinton and Debra Messing condemned her for the picture, and then continued to blame Trump supporters for how she had lost endorsement deals and jobs in the aftermath. When pressed about how she could blame “Trump supporters” and then list off Clinton and Messing–who are certainly not Trump fans–Griffin didn’t really have much of an answer and continued to insist that everything was overblown. She also accused Trump of “committing atrocities” in the United States, and said for the first time ever, she has heard from Australians who say they’re afraid to visit the United States.

In the immediate days after the photograph was published, Griffin was quite apologetic and said she went “way too far.” Those days and feelings are apparently over.

The photograph was inappropriate, and it would have been inappropriate for a celebrity to pose with the severed head of any president, from Washington through Obama. While she’s well within her rights to do whatever she wants in the name of “art,” these actions have consequences. The bipartisan response condemning the picture was almost inspiring, but Griffin doesn’t appear to want to face reality on this one.
