Adult Stores Sell Sex Toys to Fund Planned Parenthood: “It’s Critical for Our Future”

No one really should be that surprised that the adult industry supports the abortion chain Planned Parenthood.

The adult industry feeds off of the risky sexual behavior that Planned Parenthood promotes to young students and adults across the country. The abortion chain benefits, too, as risky sexual behavior can lead to more unplanned pregnancies and money-making abortions.

As the No. 1 abortion chain in the nation battles against Congress and a president who want to defund it, its supporters in the adult industry are ramping up their support.

The Washington Times reports a number of X-rated products, including sex toys, are being sold to raise money for the already wealthy Planned Parenthood.

According to the report:

Among the abortion giant’s benefactors is Vibrant, a Denver-based adult toy shop that was established with the “sole mission” of supporting Planned Parenthood of the Rocky Mountains. Items for sale include vibrators, dildos and rings priced anywhere from $20 to $220. One hundred percent of its proceeds go to the local Planned Parenthood chapter.

“Having a partner like Vibrant is critical to our future,” said Vicki Cowart, president and CEO of Planned Parenthood of the Rocky Mountains, which advertises Vibrant’s line of toys on its social media accounts.

Nasty Woman Sex Toys (slogan: “Resistance Never Felt So Good!”) features a similar lineup of toys and donates 20 percent of all proceeds to Planned Parenthood.

“Nasty Women of the past fought for us, but it looks like the time has come that we will need to continue to fight the good fight,” the store says on its website.

Unbound, a shop that sells handcuffs and restraints, gives its customers the option to “send a vibrator to Congress and save Planned Parenthood.” For just $15 the store will send a sex toy to a representative of your choosing, with 75 percent of proceeds going to Planned Parenthood.

Planned Parenthood promotes the adult industry at its facilities, including to young teens. In 2014, Live Action released an undercover video series showing Planned Parenthood employees encouraging very young teens to participate in sado-masochistic sexual activities, including gagging, whipping, asphyxiation, shopping at sex stores and viewing pornography.

These new fundraising efforts look a lot like back scratching between the abortion industry and adult sex industry. But others are fundraising for the abortion chain, too. Some of these efforts have been completely bizarre. A Colorado artist recently designed a chandelier made of tampons to sell at a fundraiser for the abortion chain. Others have made dresses using Planned Parenthood condoms, created lipstick lines and hosted bake sales and drag shows.

Supporters claim they are supporting women’s health care, but killing unborn babies is Planned Parenthood’s big business. The abortion group’s annual report shows it performed 328,348 abortions on unborn babies in 2015, nearly 5,000 more than the previous year. Planned Parenthood does about one third of all abortions in the U.S.

Planned Parenthood also is doing fewer non-abortion services, according to its annual reports from the past several years. From 2010 to 2014, Planned Parenthood reports showed dramatic decreases in the actual health services it provides, including breast cancer screenings, pap tests and STD tests and treatments.

The top priority at Planned Parenthood is abortions. This became very clear earlier this year when President Donald Trump promised to support an increase in taxpayer funding to Planned Parenthood if it gave up abortions and focused on providing real health care.

Planned Parenthood leaders refused and called the offer “obscene and insulting,” making it very clear that abortion is their true focus.
