Cecile Richards: Women Need Abortion to be Able to “Participate in the Workplace”

Cecile Richards makes almost $1 million a year as the CEO of the abortion “non-profit” Planned Parenthood.

Lately, she has been touring the country to speak out for the billions of taxpayer dollars Planned Parenthood receives each year, claiming that the No. 1 abortion provider needs the money to help women.

On Tuesday, Richards participated in the fifth annual Forbes Women Summit, Forbes reports. There, she implied that women need to be allowed to kill their unborn babies in order to succeed in the workplace.

“The fundamental ability for women to participate in the workforce is the ability to access healthcare and decide when they can have children,” Richards said at the forum. “Today, women are half the workforce. If we want to grow this economy, you can’t do that leaving half the workforce behind.”

To Richards, deciding when to have children does not just mean preventing pregnancy but also killing unborn babies in abortions. Richards also should have said when not to have children, because the abortion chain basically does nothing to help women who are struggling to conceive.

The abortion business’s CEO has made it very clear that abortion is the focus of Planned Parenthood.

SIGN THE PETITION! Congress Must De-Fund Planned Parenthood Immediately

Earlier this year, she refused an offer from President Donald Trump to support an increase in tax funding to Planned Parenthood, as long as it stopped doing abortions. That money could have gone to services like cancer screenings, well-women exams and contraception that Planned Parenthood claims to be a key provider of.

But Richards refused and called the offer “obscene and insulting.” In doing so, she made it very clear that abortions – not women’s health care – are what Planned Parenthood really is fighting for.

Planned Parenthood aborts more unborn babies than any other group in the United States. In 2015, it performed 328,348 abortions on unborn babies, nearly 5,000 more than the previous year.

Richards and her fellow abortion leaders like to claim they are helping women, but they are in the business of killing hundreds of thousands of unborn babies every year, many of the girls. But girl or boy, man or woman, every human being deserves the chance to succeed in life, and violently destroying the lives of other human beings is not the way to do it.
