Planned Parenthood never misses an opportunity to promote its abortion agenda, and Mother’s Day is no exception.
The nation’s largest abortion chain has developed a number of tasteless Mother’s Day campaigns over the years. It has exploited the holiday for donations, used it to promote its global abortion agenda, and wished mothers a happy “wanted” Mother’s Day.
This year, it claimed the gift that moms want most is for their children to promote Planned Parenthood.
“Nothing says ‘I love you, Mom!’ like standing up for the right of mothers everywhere to get the care they need,” Planned Parenthood CEO Cecile Richards tweeted Sunday.

The national abortion chain also posted this tweet:

Richards does not actually mention the word “abortion” in her Tweet or the column she wrote for Time, but the so-called “right” to destroy an unborn baby’s life by abortion is implied. And Planned Parenthood certainly did not mention that abortion is an act of violence against mothers and their unborn babies.

Last week, Richards described abortion as “fundamental” to women when she told Bustle, “… actually what I think is fundamental to women’s equality is being able to make their own decisions about their pregnancy and that to me is you know part and parcel to what being a feminist is about is respecting women.”
Aborting unborn babies is fundamental to the abortion chain’s business. Every year, Planned Parenthood violently aborts more than 300,000 unborn babies, more than any other group in the United States. And it makes millions of dollars destroying their lives.
Michelle Malkin, a popular conservative commentator, responded to Planned Parenthood’s tweet on her blog later Sunday.
“Unfortunately, it wouldn’t be Mother’s Day without an obscene lack of self-awareness from one of the main abortion cheerleaders on the Left,” she wrote.
Mother’s Day is a day to celebrate the love, sacrifices and strength of our mothers for giving us life. The abortion message that Planned Parenthood is peddling does nothing to help or empower mothers. True empowerment would mean supporting mothers and their children from the moment that unique relationship forms – at their baby’s conception.
