Hillary Clinton Trashes Pro-Lifers: Just “Men Sitting Around a Table Trying to Defund Planned Parenthood”

Failed presidential candidate Hillary Clinton lobbed criticisms at pro-lifers again this week during a women’s conference in New York City.

Clinton, who ran on a radical pro-abortion platform that called for taxpayer funding of abortion and legalized abortion for any reason up to birth, spoke during a Women in the World conference Thursday in New York.

She criticized pro-life legislators, especially male legislators, who are working to defund the nation’s largest abortion chain, Planned Parenthood, and cutting off funding to international groups that promote and perform abortions, sometimes coercively.

“All of the men sitting around the table deciding how they were going to defund Planned Parenthood, end maternity care and access to contraception ― looking at that picture, you just think it’s got to be from a skit on ‘Saturday Night Live,’” Clinton said, according to WWD News.

Her comment could be a reference to photos of President Donald Trump when he reinstated the Mexico City Policy in January. The policy prohibits taxpayer funding from going to the International Planned Parenthood Federation and other groups that promote or provide abortions overseas. One widely-circulated photo of the event did not show any women, and abortion activists used it to attack Trump as anti-women. However, other photos showed that women were there.

NBC News reports Clinton also criticized the Trump administration’s recent decision to strip funding from the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA). The UN agency has been linked to coercive population control measures in China, including forced abortions.

“I don’t understand the commitment to hurt so many people that this administration, this White House, seems to be pursuing,” Clinton said in reference to the defunding of UNFPA, as well as other issues.

Clinton also claimed her gender was one of the reasons she lost the election.

“It is fair to say that certainly misogyny played a role. That just has to be admitted,” she said. “Some people, women included, had real problems” with a woman being in power.

Abortion activists often mention sexism in an attempt to defend abortion. They claim that if more women were in power, abortions would be more accepted. But this is not true.

Women are some of the most vocal advocates against abortion. Female lawmakers recently introduced several bills to defund the abortion chain, and led the Congressional investigation into the abortion industry’s sales of aborted babies’ body parts.

Clinton’s campaign received a huge amount of support from Planned Parenthood. The abortion chain spent more than $30 million in the last election to support pro-abortion candidates, including Clinton.
