Planned Parenthood Scrubs “Prenatal Care” From Website After Caught Denying It to Women

Last month, a new investigation showed employees at the Planned Parenthood abortion business denying women prenatal care. In fact, at almost every single one of the 97 Planned Parenthood facilities investigators contacted, prenatal care was not something the Planned Parenthood clinics offered.

After LifeNews and other media outlets reported on the investigation, Planned Parenthood has scrubbed its websites have any mention of prenatal care. Here’s more from LiveAction:

Since the release of Live Action’s investigative video exposing the lack of care Planned Parenthood gives to pregnant women who want to keep their children, Planned Parenthood has been busy purging their websites of the term “prenatal.”

As a small sample of screen grabs from Planned Parenthood’s websites shows, the term “prenatal” in bold on the left-hand side captured approximately one week ago has disappeared from Planned Parenthood sites, as shown in the right-hand images captured on February 3, 2017.

A few of the screen grabs appear below showing the scrubbing:

As LifeNews reported previously, the Planned Parenthood abortion business has been forced to edit its web site after it falsely advertised providing prenatal care. The abortion giant has since removed ‘prenatal’ from their booking appointments website but ‘Prenatal’ services still appears for each affiliate through internet search engines.

“How many women were caught in this bait-and-switch ruse by Planned Parenthood?,” asks Michael Geer, President of the Pennsylvania Family Institute. “Until now, Planned Parenthood had listed prenatal care right where they take online appointments yet have never offered those services in Pennsylvania. It certainly looks like an awfully deceitful way to get women in the door and then push their abortion services.”

The new investigation, “Abortion Corporation,” explores the abortion group’s claims about being an essential women’s health care provider. Planned Parenthood has been putting extra emphasis on its non-abortion services recently in an attempt to justify the $500 million in taxpayer money it receives every year. Its leaders claim that being defunded would hurt millions of women who depend on Planned Parenthood for services like prenatal care, breast exams and birth control.

That’s not what Live Action found, though. The first video in its new series, “The Prenatal Care Deception,” shows that Planned Parenthood’s prenatal care services are “virtually nonexistent.”

Only five of the 97 facilities it contacted across the United States provided prenatal care; the rest turned them away, according to the investigation.

“Planned Parenthood offers abortions, so they don’t offer prenatal care,” a receptionist at the Planned Parenthood in Tempe, Arizona told a Live Action investigator.

Another receptionist at the Albany, New York facility told them, “No Planned Parenthood does prenatal care, hon.”

A third in Merrillville, Indiana said: “No, we don’t do prenatal services. I mean, it’s called Planned Parenthood, I know it’s kind of deceiving.”
