Vice President Mike Pence is encouraging pro-life Advocates to join the March for Life on Friday. He spoke with Marjorie Dannenfelser of the Susan B Anthony list this morning to urge pro-life Americans to participate.

After their phone conversation, Dannenfelser had this to say to LifeNews.com:

“This year’s March for Life is happening against a dramatically different backdrop than years past and is perhaps the most crucial moment since Roe. This morning I spoke to Vice President Mike Pence and he encouraged everyone in the pro-life movement to drop what they are doing, and show up to the national mall on Friday. He said ‘The March for Life is a great opportunity for pro-life Americans to come to our nation’s capital and celebrate the election of a pro-life President and pro-life majorities in Congress.’

“We feel certain, given the massive coverage of the Women’s March last week, and the fact that there is now a pro-life president in the White House, that the media will turn out in droves to cover the hundreds of thousands of pro-life marchers who will be arriving Friday. Our movement is poised to make historic gains for unborn children and women with this new pro-life President and Congress.”
