Elections have consequences. And for pro-abortion candidate Hillary Clinton it means laying off staff from the Clinton Foundation.

Specifically, the Clinton Global Initiative that has promoted abortion is being shut down.

The foundation, which was started by a pro-abortion former President Bill Clinton, filed paperwork with New York City labor authorities indicating that 22 workers were given notice that they would be laid off due to a quote discontinuation of the Clinton Global initiative.

Here’s more:

The foundation, which has long been dogged by allegations of wrongdoing, filed paperwork with the New York Department of Labor saying that the workers would be out of a job due to ‘discontinuation of the Clinton Global Initiative,’ according to Mediaite.

By law, WARN filings – or the Worker Adjustment Retraining and Notification Act – are meant to give pre-emptive notice to employees of a company that is either shutting down or laying off workers.

The Clinton Global Initiative, a division of the Clinton Foundation, alerted staff back in September that lay offs were in the offing, according to Politico.

The last three-day event staged by CGI in New York was held between September 19 and 21st. The first night of the three-day soiree included appearances by Sting and a performance by Jon Bon Jovi. U2’s Bono and actor Ben Affleck appeared separately on panel discussions.

A tearful Bill Clinton bade farewell having announced that he would shutter the initiative and leave the foundation in anticipation of Hillary Clinton’s election victory.

‘I look forward to this night every year and I was sitting here thinking, boy I’m going to miss this,’ Bill Clinton said once it was his turn to take the stage during the evening’s Global Citizens Awards in New York City.

Not surprisingly, Planned Parenthood became a member of the Clinton Global Initiative. In 2012 it committed $700,000 to the CGI to promote its abortion agenda.

CGI also helps fund organizations that promote thousands of abortions. Pathfinder International and Population Services International are two of the controversial foundations that CGI supports.
