The attacks on American voters who voted for President elect Donald Trump continue.

In the latest case and man wearing a “Make America Great Again” hat supporting Donald Trump says he was attacked on a New York City subway. The man received an inquiry about his hat from a fellow subway rider and he expected a compliment about it. Instead he says the next thing he knows he’s being choked.

Corey Cataldo, 24, said he was riding the train from Union Square to Morris Park on Friday when a fellow rider on the subway noticed his “Make America Great Again” hat and didn’t like it, WABC reported.

“He asked me if I’m a Trump supporter. I said ‘yeah’ and thought he’d say ‘me too.’ People have been doing that,” Cataldo said. “But no. This man was not a Trump supporter.”

“The next thing I know, I have hands around my neck and I’m being choked,” he added. “I try to fight him off, and another gentleman comes over, pretends like he’s going to help me and says ‘get off of him.’ He shoves me up against the wall, up against the window.”

According to Cataldo, on one on the subway offered to help him and stave off the attacker.
