Hillary Clinton Stands for Abortion at Every Stage of Pregnancy

With the presidential election just days away, pro-life voters are using letters to the editor to encourage fellow citizens to vote pro-life.

In one recent letter to the editor, a pro-life woman makes it clear that Hillary Clinton is the most radical pro-abortion presidential candidate and that her pro-abortion views differ with those of her opponents.

“There is an issue at stake this election that should be of importance to every Catholic and Christian voter, and that is abortion,” Winnie Zeamer writes.

“Hillary Clinton stands for abortion at any stage of pregnancy, promising to end restrictions on taxpayer funding for abortion. Clinton’s vice presidential pick, Tim Kaine, claims to be a devout Catholic privately, while defending abortion rights publicly. This misleads and confuses some people of faith,” Zeamer says.

She continues: “What a contrast with Trump’s vice-presidential pick, Mike Pence. He recognizes and is not afraid to state that the right to life is the first and foremost human right, without which no other rights matter.”

Another voter calls on pro-life people to speak up for those who can’t defend themselves. Mary Bocchino writes:

An 18-year-old Roebling man was charged with “inflicting unnecessary cruelty and causing the death of a living creature,” a puppy. He will likely serve time for his inhumane treatment of animals. Yet, the inhumane treatment of babies by “animals” is carried out on a daily basis, by doctors using sterilized gloves and instruments to perform legal abortions.

What is wrong with this picture?

Bocchino continues: “We want to rid the world of terrorism, yet we continue to have our own form of terrorism right here. I love our country, but, as a nation, our acceptance of abortion makes us no better than the terrorists. Listen to the cry of the unborn who, through abortion, continue to be silenced before they take their first breath. Speak out, America, for those who can’t speak. Vote for the candidates who will represent “all” of the people, including the unborn.”

The nation’s Catholic bishops have made the vote pro-life first philosophy very clear. Bishop Thomas J. Tobin of Rhode Island made it clear that Catholic voters must not vote for pro-abortion candidates like Hillary Clinton.

Bishop Tobin made the remarks in an April 21 post on Facebook:

Catholics: Vote Pro-Life

As the primary election draws near in Rhode Island, I encourage faithful Catholics to vote pro-life – and never to vote for any candidate, of any party, who supports abortion.

And don’t be fooled by those who say they “aren’t pro-abortion, but are just pro-choice.” It’s a smoke screen for what they really believe, but are afraid to admit. After all, what kind of choice are they promoting? They’re not talking about choosing a favorite ice cream flavor, are they? And it’s not about so-called “reproductive freedom or women’s health care” either. Clearly, politicians who support abortion are encouraging a choice that ends the life of an innocent human being and ultimately harms the mother, personally and spiritually!

As Pope Francis has reminded us: “It is not progressive to try to resolve problems by eliminating human life.” (EG #214)

Hillary Clinton has an extreme position on abortion that is out of touch with most Americans and contrary to Catholic teachings.

If elected, Clinton promised her friends at the abortion company Planned Parenthood to force Americans to pay for abortions with their tax dollars by attempting to overturn the Hyde Amendment, which has protected Americans from funding most all abortions since the late 1970s. Upheld by the Supreme Court, the Hyde Amendment is now a target of abortion advocates who have moved from pro-choice to pro-abortion — forcing Americans not only to accept unlimited abortions before birth but also to pay for them.

During an interview on The View recently Hillary Clinton said an unborn child just hours before delivery should have no Constitutional rights. In February, Clinton also defended partial-birth abortions.
