Planned Parenthood Abortion Clinic Tells Patients: “Please Don’t Bring Children With You”

Go to the Planned Parenthood website, find your nearest abortion clinic (e.g.,www.plannedparenthood.org/health-center/california/santa-cruz/95060/westside-health-center-2232-90130/abortion#sthash.9GTOxveD.dpuf), and you’ll find this curious instruction on the page about abortion services:

“Please do not bring children with you to the health center.”

There is no explanation or justification given, just the request. This gives us plenty of room to speculate.

Of course, many of Planned Parenthood’s clientele are minors, but those aren’t the “children” that Planned Parenthood wants to remain at home. They very much want them to come on in, without their parents (if possible), pay their money, and get their abortions.

No, the obvious answer is simply that clinic workers don’t want to be bothered watching little kids while mommy is aborting an even littler kid.

Abortions to moms with already born children happen more often than many people think. Statistics over the past 15 years consistently show that about 6 out of every ten women having an abortion has already given birth to at least one child.

Interviews with these women indicate that their circumstances are such that they believe they cannot see how they take on the responsibility of a new child and raise and provide for the child or children they’ve already got.

But pro-lifers, through pregnancy care centers, are helping to inform women of and connect many of them the resources that are available in their communities. It is clearly an area where more help is needed.

On a practical level, it can’t be good for Planned Parenthood’s business to have babies or other kids playing and running around the waiting room while young women are waiting to be called in; they are likely already wrestling internally with their decisions to end the life of the baby they’re carrying.

“Children” are a reminder of the reality of the life they carry, the love, the joy, the cuteness, the smiles that they will never experience. Seeing them might be enough to prompt a few to change their minds. In a sense it is like a flesh-and-blood ultrasound.

To be fair, it also can’t be very comfortable for Planned Parenthood’s staff to be constantly reminded of what they’re doing – killing babies just as alive and vivacious as the kids who would be crawling or running around the office.

The child is someone that Planned Parenthood doesn’t want to see or think about, so much so, that they ignore the tragic contradiction in the statement posted on their webpage. If a pregnant woman doesn’t bring her child to the clinic, then what is Planned Parenthood going to abort?

The denial of the reality of the child is central to Planned Parenthood’s ethos and its multi-million dollar abortion enterprise. It’s why they were so desperate to change the subject when those appalling videos from the Center for Medical Progress showing Planned Parenthood staff haggling over what was “appropriate compensation” for the harvesting of the dead baby’s parts

Those videos showed abortion clinic personnel totally oblivious to what is (to the rest of us) creepy, cold, cruel, and callous: pawing through intact livers and brains and eyes and limbs of babies that were alive and kicking only hours before the footage was shot.

Yes, Planned Parenthood kills children, hundreds of thousands of them a year, making millions and millions of dollars. It’s not a nice place for kids, or for their mothers.

So, moms, “Please do not bring children with you to the health center,” most particularly unborn children.
