If Hillary Clinton Wants to Fund Planned Parenthood, She Should Ask Her Billionaire Donors

Hillary Clinton promises to repeal the Hyde Amendment and force taxpayers to fund abortions, however her top donors alone could fund Planned Parenthood for the next 120 years, the Daily Caller reported.

The Hyde Amendment prohibits direct taxpayer funding of most abortions and has done so since the late 1970s. Upheld by the Supreme Court, the amendment is now a target of abortion advocates who have moved from pro-choice to pro-abortion — forcing Americans not only to accept unlimited abortions before birth but also to pay for them.

While abortion businesses like Planned Parenthood do receive some taxpayer funding, they are not supposed to use the money for abortions. If Hyde was repealed, that would change, and abortion businesses could freely and openly receive tax dollars for abortions.

Forcing taxpayers to pay for abortions would be unnecessary if Clinton’s pro-abortion donors funded the abortion cooperation themselves. Clinton’s largest political donors could collectively fund Planned Parenthood until the year 2116, according to the Daily Caller analysis. If the 21 leading donors only provided the federal funding for the abortion business, Planned Parenthood could be supported for the next 235 years, or until 2251, the analysis found.

One of Clinton’s famous supporters, Warren Buffett, has a net worth of around $65 billion. In 2014, the 85-year-old investor gave the Clinton PAC $25,000. According to the report, “Buffet could fund Planned Parenthood as long as all of the other Clinton donors combined.”

The third richest man in the world, Buffet is a supporter of Planned Parenthood. Through his wife’s foundation, the Susan Thompson Buffet Foundation, he gave more than $35 million to the abortion provider in a single year.

The Daily Caller wrote that although not all of Clinton’s supporters are financially supporting Planned Parenthood, many are, “including [George] Soros, [James] Simons, venture capitalist J.B. Pritzker, billionaire heir Jon Stryker, and Houston-based attorney John Mostyn.”

Hillary Clinton supports abortions through all nine months of pregnancy and wants to force every taxpayer to fund abortions. However, Planned Parenthood doesn’t need federal funding. Clinton’s supporters alone could fund the abortion giant for centuries to come.
