A brutal case out of Texas has pro-life advocates up in arms after a slain mentally disabled teenager was found with her uterus cut out after accusing her stepfather of raping her on multiple occasions.
18-year-old Holli Jeffcoat and a sibling reportedly suffered years of abuse at the hands of her mother and stepfather. Court documents continue to reflect a history with Child Protective Services, with details of Jeffcoat’s sexual abuse dating back to when she was 10 years old.
Jeffcoat told school personnel in Lorenzo she was sexually abused by her stepfather and that she had become pregnant as a result. Jeffcoat told the first reporting individual that she did not want to go home with James Holland because she did not want to have sex.
Two weeks later, Holli’s body was found in the bedroom of her northeast Lubbock County home. The Lorenzo special needs student who spoke out had her throat slashed, according to the affidavit; her womb and uterus were removed.

A Texas man is accused of raping and impregnating his special needs 18-year-old stepdaughter, who was found slain with her uterus ripped out, following nearly a decade of sexual abuse, authorities said.
On Monday, investigators revealed a damning history of sexual assaults that plagued Holli Jeffcoat dating back to 2008, according to court documents obtained by the Lubbock Avalanche-Journal.
Jeffcoat was found slain in a partially-burned home in Idalou about 100 miles south of Amarillo on Feb. 10, weeks after the developmentally disabled teenager accused her stepfather of raping her.
An arrest warrant linking Jeffcoat’s mother Debi Holland to the victim’s death states the home was set ablaze in an attempt to hide gruesome details — the killer slit Jeffcoat’s throat and cut her uterus from her body. She was 13-weeks pregnant.
Police accused Debi Holland of covering up her husband’s abuse following her arrest on Friday. She may have prevented crucial medical exams that may have detected signs of rape and sexually-transmitted diseases passed from the stepfather to Jeffcoat, authorities alleged.
Rebecca Kiessling, a pro-life advocate and attorney who was conceived in rape, told LifeNews.com she is very distrbed by the details of Holli’s story and her subseuquent slaying.
“I’m so upset by this story and I can’t look at Holli’s photo without wanting to cry. She and her baby should have been protected,” she said. “When will people understand that rapists love abortion?”
Kiessling said officials should have done more to protect Holli from her abusers.
“After discovering she was pregnant, she reported the rape, and said she was afraid to go home because her step-father had threatened to force an abortion upon her — which is quite typical of these perpetrators of rape and incest,” she continued. “They want to destroy the evidence with an abortion, which then serves to protect the perpetrator and enable him to continue raping. The legal system failed this girl. I tell people all the time — punish rapists, not babies! Why was he free?”
“This story also demonstrates how, for victims of incest, even their own mothers often don’t have their best interests in mind. Holli and her baby deserved to be protected from the rapist and from the abortion. They deserved justice, not death for either one of them,” the pro-life advocate continued.

Rape survivor Wedencise Wendi Lubin also told LifeNews.com she mourns for Holli and her baby.
“My heart absolutely breaks for precious Holli and her innocent baby tragically murdered in cold blood. The entire story is disgraceful,barbaric and despicable,” Lubin said.
As an incest rape survivor and mother to a precious child conceived as a direct result of incest rape, I am all too familiar with family members going to extreme brutal lengths in order to cover up an incest rape,” Lubin explained. “Even in my case once my rapist/ relative realized my firm pro life decision to refuse to terminate the pregnancy, he then decided to attempt to force me to miscarry by trying to offer me spiked drinks that would endanger the pregnancy, as well as starving me. Rapist also did not permit me to leave the home for weeks at a time so that others would not see my baby bump in public. Rapist forced me to stay in a filthy room day and night which is basically like kidnapping. In addition similar to Holli’s story my mother discredits the rape to this day. “
