Pro-Abortion Group’s Display Features Baby-Shaped Cookies With Their Heads Broken Off

Abortion activists have come up with some pretty juvenile attempts to mock pro-lifers lately. Period panties. Christmas ornaments made from fetal models. IUD earrings. “Don’t f— with us” buttons.

But the pro-abortion display at the University of North Georgia may be the most sick and twisted yet. It smacks more of a kindergarten playground stunt than a college campus display.

The pro-abortion students’ table had cookies shaped like babies, many with their heads broken off. Around the baby cookies were papers that said, “Abortion should remain legal because …” and included a space for students to write a reason.

The College Fix reported the photos of the display received wide-spread attention on social media after conservative blogger Matt Walsh posted them on Facebook. Walsh said someone on campus told him about the display and sent the photos.

“Yes, those are cookies in the shape of babies. Carly tells me the pro-abortion folks were eating the baby cookies or breaking the heads off and laughing,” Walsh wrote. “This is dark and disturbed in ways that can’t be fully described. I’ve been saying this about the pro-abortion movement for a long time. As much as you might want to give ‘pro-choicers’ the benefit of the doubt, the fact remains that they are advocating for the murder of human children. That is an insidious, terrible, deeply evil thing.”

One photo showed a photo of the baby-shaped cookies and papers with the messages “Abortion should remain legal because … my vagina is too pretty to let a fetus crawl out” and “Abortion should remain legal because … a woman controls her own body.” Another photo showed a decapitated baby-shaped cookie and the message “Abortion should remain legal because … it’s constitutionally protected (smiley face).”

Walsh added, “It’s funny that college kids have a reputation for being these easily offended snowflakes — and many of them are, no doubt — yet a lot of these very same snowflakes are too spiritually deranged and morally vacant to recognize when something is ACTUALLY outrageous and repulsive.”

Conservative speaker and radio host Ben Shapiro also tweeted about the display:

Georgia Right to Life appears to be the group that originally witnessed the pro-abortion students’ mockery of pro-lifers and took the photos. According to the group’s Facebook page, their volunteers also had a display on campus in partnership with the university Students for Life club. A local pregnancy resource center also set up a display.

“Pro-abortion activists: 4 white guys with baby shaped cookies and protest signs. Pro-life activists: 8 girls with free education materials and praying with students who are grieving after abortion. The contrast is so distinct it’s almost funny,” according to an April 14 post.

Later that day, Georgia RTL posted the photos and this message: “We caught wind that a pro-abortion rally was going to be on University of North Georgia’s Dahlonega campus today, so we brought our Pillars display to join Students for Life UNG and the Dahlonega Care Center to share the message of life as a counter to the industry of death. As you can see, their tables feature baby shaped cookies that they’ve broken the heads off of in a sick display of solidarity with dismembering innocent babies. Pray for us today.”
