Planned Parenthood Had Just One Easter Message and It Had Nothing to Do With Jesus

Easter generally is the Christian holiday that celebrates Jesus’ resurrection and new life in Him. So, perhaps it should come as no surprise that the group responsible for ending the lives of more unborn babies in the U.S. than any other would ignore the holiday altogether.

According to Breitbart, Planned Parenthood did not recognize the holiday at all on social media on Sunday. Instead, it continued to attack the legislators who are investigating whether it is illegally profiting off the sale of aborted babies’ body parts.

According to the report:

The only Easter message from Planned Parenthood on Sunday morning asked people to sign a petition to “stop the investigations” into “PP health centers” and included “#StandWithPP.” As of the time of publication, neither @PPact or @PPFA had tweeted out any message for this Easter day.

Clicking on the link in the tweet, @PPact has the following message:

Officials in 12 states have investigated the outrageous claims made by the Center for Medical Progress (CMP) about the sale of fetal tissue, and each and every one has cleared Planned Parenthood of wrongdoing. A Texas grand jury has indicted the leaders of that group for their criminal acts. And now, two more Planned Parenthood affiliates where CMP operatives took their fraud have joined a lawsuit to hold them accountable for the very real damage they caused to patients’ privacy and access to care.

The truth is out. These criminals will answer for what they’ve done. And it’s long past time to stop the baseless investigations into Planned Parenthood health centers still happening in Congress right now. It has to stop.

Tell Speaker Rep. Paul Ryan (R-WI): End the anti-Planned Parenthood special committee investigation now.

Planned Parenthood CEO Cecile Richards also does not appear to have recognized the holiday on her social media accounts, LifeNews found. However, last year, one of Planned Parenthood’s political action groups in New York had volunteers decorate Easter eggs with pro-abortion messages.

Planned Parenthood is the largest abortion group in the U.S., doing about 320,000 abortions every year, according to its own annual reports. It came under fire recently after a series of videos by the Center for Medical Progress showed some of its top officials discussing the sale of aborted babies’ body parts.

SIGN THE PETITION! Congress Must De-Fund Planned Parenthood Immediately

In August, undercover investigator David Daleiden released a video catching a Planned Parenthood official discussing how the abortion business sells “fully intact” aborted babies. The video makes it appear the Planned Parenthood abortion business may be selling the “fully intact” bodies of unborn babies purposefully born alive and left to die. Since then, his group has released 11 more videos.

The videos prompted numerous state and federal investigations into the abortion business, several of which are on-going. Since the first video came out in August, at least eight states have found abortion clinics violating laws. In a report in the New York Times last week, a U.S. Congressional panel that is investigating said it uncovered evidence of possible “illegal profiteering, questionable consent forms and inappropriate collusion between scientists seeking fetal tissue and abortion providers.”

In the past few months, Planned Parenthood has been attempting to do damage control amid public outrage over its employees’ statements in the videos. Ignoring a holiday that celebrates new life may be the abortion group’s latest subtle attempt to draw attention away from its horrific, life-destroying practices.
