The Planned Parenthood abortion business in Iowa continues to pray on young women — now from a new location.

Late last week, Iowa Right to Life confirmed that Planned Parenthood of the Heartland has quietly deserted their million-dollar administration building.  Formerly housed in a sprawling building in the heart of downtown Des Moines, they’ve recently posted a “For Sale” sign in the front yard.

Although it’s good news that the abortion corporation is moving out, it’s new location is very troubling.

“We are extremely encouraged to see yet another massive downsizing by the once seemingly formidable abortion giant.  However, we are most concerned with their new office setting,” stated Jenifer Bowen, Executive Director of Iowa Right to Life.  “They’ve moved into a much smaller suite a few blocks down at 818-5th Street, home of the Young Women’s Resource Center.”

“It’s no surprise they’d want to move back into this building as they again have unfettered access to girls as young as 10,” continued Bowen.  “It’s imperative to their livelihood that they grow their abortion business.  This building is a perfect target full of vulnerable young women.”

In January, Planned Parenthood closed its facility in Dubuque, Iowa.

“For nearly 8 years Dubuque County Right to Life Inc.’s faithful and loyal picketers have stood in opposition to Planned Parenthood for every hour of operation in Dubuque.  Today we take a moment to celebrate the fruit of this labor and the spreading of a more just society for every human person, beginning at conception until natural death.  In the wake of Planned Parenthood leaving, DCRTL Inc. will double down on its efforts to raise awareness and spread the Culture of Life at every opportunity.  While this announcement is a victory for our community, we mourn also the countless lives lost and women scarred by abortion in Dubuque and across the nation.  DCRTL, Inc. will continue to work to educate the public on all life issues, until every mother and child are welcomed and supported with the resources they need to live in dignity.”
