Planned Parenthood just called Ted Cruz the “Biggest Liar in the Room” in an insult that comes off as high praise to pro-lifers.

The call came after Carly Fiorina endorsed Cruz. Fiorina, who dropped out of the presidential race earlier this year, is a woman who largely based her presidential campaign off criticizing the abortion giant, and was labeled “Planned Parenthood’s Worst Enemy” by the liberal outlet Think Progress.

A recent Planned Parenthood tweet made it clear that the abortion organization views the pair as leading enemies of abortion.

Dawn Laguens, Planned Parenthood Action Fund’s executive vice president, said: “It’s no surprise she endorsed Ted Cruz. Together, they have created an echo chamber of lies that very seriously threatens the health and well-being of women in this country.”

On Wednesday, Laugens tweeted:

Planned Parenthood has attacked Cruz in the past, saying that the Republican presidential candidate “doesn’t understand how birth control works.” They also tweeted that Cruz is “so against your rights, he’d add a ‘personhood’ amendment to the constitution.”

While Sen. Cruz has been made an enemy of Planned Parenthood, the feelings between them are mutual. After all, Cruz was one of the leaders of the effort to shut down the federal government in order to de-fund Planned Parenthood. The move came after a series of undercover videos caught the abortion business selling aborted babies’ body parts.

“I believe we should use every and any procedural tool available to defund Planned Parenthood,” Cruz said at the time.

On Wednesday, LifeNews reported Fiorina’s statement endorsing Cruz. The pro-life businesswoman said she believes Cruz would be the best candidate to challenge pro-abortion candidate Hillary Clinton in the November presidential election.
