SIGN THE PLEDGE: I Pledge to Vote for a Pro-Life Candidate for President

Despite Trump’s victory, supporters of other candidates were concerned about voter irregularities at the caucus sites and called the result into question:

Recently, for the first time, Trump specifically promised he would sign a bill as president to de-fund Planned Parenthood. Trump has repeatedly indicated he opposes Planned Parenthood funding but has always stopped short of committing to sign legislation to stop the flow of taxpayer funds to the nation’s biggest abortion business.

In a new interview with David Brody of CBN, Trump made that promise. Although his promise will go a long way towards reassuring pro-life voters he would implement specific pro-life policy on abortion as president, Trump continued to praise Planned Parenthood — following up on his “good things” and “wonderful work” comments that have turned off some pro-life voters.

Meanwhile, Trump said he thinks the Roe v. Wade Supreme Court case that ushered in an era of 48 million abortions was “wrongly decided.” Trump said he would appoint “very good judges” who would ultimately “change it” but he opposed Roe without specifically saying it should be overturned.

SIGN THE PLEDGE: I Pledge to Vote for a Pro-Life Candidate for President

During last week’s Republican presidential debate, pro-life Florida Sen. Marco Rubio laid out his agenda for the kind of nation he wants to see and one he will try to lead the country to if elected president. And Rubio clearly wants a pro-life nation.

Our culture’s in trouble. Wrong is considered right and right is considered wrong.

All the things that once held our families together are now under constant assault. And around the world, America’s reputation is in decline. Our allies don’t trust us, our adversaries don’t fear us, Iran captures our sailors and parades them before the world on video.

These are difficult times but 2016 can be a turning point. That’s why I’m running for president and that’s why I’m here today to ask you for your vote. If you elect me president, we are going to re- embrace free enterprise so that everyone can go as far as their talent and their work will take them.

We are going to be a country that says that, “life begins at conception and life is worthy of the protection of our laws.” We are going to be a country that says, “the constitution and the rights that it talks about do not come from our president, they come from our creator.”

During the debate, Rubio also talked about the passing of pro-life Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia. Rubio pointed out the importance of the Supreme Court in light of the passing of pro-life Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia. His death underscores the importance for electing a pro-life president — as the next president will appoint at least one and likely multiple judges to the nation’s highest court — judges who will set the future for abortion in the Untied States.

Ted Cruz is one of the pro-life candidates seeking the GOP nod to take on pro-abortion Hillary Clinton or Bernie Sanders. Cruz has a long pro-life track record in office and it’s one he says in a new video he will continue as president.

“A candidate that can’t be trusted to protect the right to life can’t be trusted to protect any of our other God-given rights either. When you look at the voting records of politicians…if they’re bad on life, they’re always — I repeat always — bad on everything else, too,” Cruz says in the new video.

“As president of the United States, I pledge to you that I will do everything within my power to end the scourge of abortion once and for all. That I will use the full constitutional power and the bully pulpit of the presidency to promote a culture of life,” Cruz continues. “That I will sign any legislation put on my desk to defend the least of these, including legislation that defends the rights of all persons, without exception other than the life of the mother, from conception to natural death. That I will not only defund Planned Parenthood, but I will instruct the Department of Justice to investigate Planned Parenthood and to prosecute any and all criminal conduct which those videos that we saw from the Center for Medical Progress so powerfully evidenced.”

“Everything I just pledged to you should be an automatic requirement for any prospected president who takes an oath of office before an all-powerful God to preserve, protect, and defend our Constitution,” Cruz adds.
