You’ll be Shocked When You See What Planned Parenthood Says is “All That Matters”

Yesterday, Planned Parenthood released its annual report to its donors and supporters covering its activities for 2014. The abortion company indicated it killed 323,999 babies in abortions. On the same day, Planned Parenthood sent an urgent fundraising email to its supporters that LifeNews obtained.

When sending out email fundraisers, companies typically try to use witty-sounding or click-inducing headlines that grab a reader’s attention and make them want to look at that email as opposed to the dozens of others they receive in a given day. Planned Parenthood titled its email: “This is all that matters.”

So what is “all that matters” to Planned Parenthood? To hear Planned Parenthood CEO Cecile Richards tell it – especially after the abortion company was caught selling aborted baby body parts — the answer is women. Women’s rights. Women’s health. War on women. That’s the number one priority at the nation’s biggest abortion corporation right?

Wrong.

As LifeNews reported yesterday, Planned Parenthood is actually helping fewer women now than in years past.

The 2,500,000 patients Planned Parenthood saw in 2014 is the lowest annual number reported by Planned Parenthood since 1998. A quick look at the numbers contained in its report shows that the number of “services” PP provided to its customers fell from 10,590,333 in 2013 to 9,455,582 in 2014. This represents an 11 percent drop in services provided by Planned Parenthood.

The answer is money. At the end of the email, readers get a clear picture of what matters to Planned Parenthood … the bottom line:

According to its own annual report, while Planned Parenthood was seeing fewer patients and delivering fewer services, government grants and reimbursements to the organization rose from $528.4 million to $553.7 million—a 4.8 percent increase. No wonder the abortion business is fighting Congressional efforts to de-fund it tooth and nail.
