The scars on Hope’s head serve as constant reminders of how she almost lost her life before she was born.

Hope is an abortion survivor, but she is not bitter or resentful. Despite having multiple health problems as a result of the abortion, Hope shared online that she has forgiven her birth mother and she believes God has a plan for her life.

Hope lived through an abortion when she was just 10-weeks gestation in her mother’s womb, Live Action News writes. It left her with numerous health problems, including cerebral palsy and the inability to walk. She also speaks slowly and has a long scar across her head from where the abortion doctor’s instruments tried to end her tiny life.

Hope was adopted by a loving family. She said she connected with her birth mother on Facebook and told her that she loves and forgives her.

Hope shared more of her story on a YouTube video:

I’m an abortion survivor. I’m glad my birth mother placed me for adoption. I told my birth mother that God had a plan for her life. I met my birth mother through Facebook, and I’m glad she did that. And I pray for her, and I told her that I love her so much, and God has a plan for each of our lives. He has a plan for my life and he will always have a plan for your life. And that’s how I turned out to be. And that’s the end of my story.

Hope is one of many known abortion survivors. She joins Melissa Ohden, Gianna Jessen, Claire Culwell and many others whose lives put a face to the millions of other less fortunate babies who did not survive abortions. These abortion survivors’ stories demonstrate the love and healing that can come out of a tragic situation – through the precious gift of a new human life.
