The Obama administration has announced a review of the two shocking videos showing to doctors at the Planned Parenthood abortion business but pro-life advocates are worried it may instead target the pro-life people who made the undercover investigative videos.
A second shocking video has been released showing a top Planned Parenthood official discussing and arranging the sale of body parts of aborted babies. The first video shows Planned Parenthood Federation of America’s Senior Director of Medical Services, Dr. Deborah Nucatola, describing how Planned Parenthood sells the body parts of aborted unborn children and admitting she uses partial-birth abortions to supply intact body parts.
In the second video, Mary Gatter, the Medical director at Planned Parenthood Pasadena and San Gabriel Valley in California, discusses selling aborted baby body parts with undercover investigators posing as officials with a biotech company that acts as a middleman to sell aborted baby body parts to universities and other places that conduct such research. Gatter is a senior official within Planned Parenthood and is President of the Medical Directors’ Council, the central committee of all Planned Parenthood affiliate medical directors.
Gatter discusses the pricing of aborted baby body parts — telling the biotech company officials that the prices for such things as a baby’s liver, head or heart are negotiable. She also tells the officials that she could talk with the Planned Parenthood abortion practitioners to potentially alter the abortion procedure to kill the baby in a way that would best preserve those body parts after the unborn child is killed in the abortion.

Attorney General Loretta Lynch said yesterday that the Justice Department will review all of the information related to the videos. As The Hill reports:
“I’m aware of those matters generally from the media, and from some inquiries that have been made to the Department of Justice, and again at this point we’re going to review all the information and determine what steps, if any, to take at the appropriate time,” Lynch said when asked about the videos at a press conference.
Sen. Mike Lee (R-Utah) and ten other Republican senators sent a letter to the DOJ on Wednesday requesting an investigation. They say that Planned Parenthood could have violated laws that ban profiting off the sale of fetal organs.
Planned Parenthood says it follows the law and strongly denies those claims.
The letter also states that the group could have violated a law that bans altering the abortion procedure in order to obtain fetal tissue.
But the main pro-life advocate behind the investigative videos is concerned the Obama administration will ultimately target him instead of holding the Planned Parenthood abortion business accountable. That’s in part because Democrats have released a letter to the Obama administration calling on it not to investigate Planned Parenthood but to investigate the pro-life group that conducted the expose’ and released the videos.
Still, pro-lifer David Daleiden isn’t phased.
“They will attack me and my organization all day long, but that does not change the facts about what our investigation has uncovered and what the American people now know — that Planned Parenthood is engaged in an enterprise-wide operation that traffics and sells baby body parts,” he said in a statement.
There is some concern that the Justice Department will file an injunction preventing Daleiden from releasing any more of the many more videos exposing Planned Parenthood that are expected to be released in the coming weeks and months. The pro-life writers at Hot Air are concerned about that as well another potential pushback from the Obama administration.
Maybe it’s not PP that Lynch is planning to focus on but the pro-life group behind the sting, just as Democrats would like. That’s what reviewing “all information” means here, presumably. Planned Parenthood has already complained in a letter to a House committee that the sting is part of a “harassment” campaign from pro-lifers; there may yet be questions about whether secret recordings of PP doctors tossing out prices for fetal livers between bites of salad violate wiretapping laws. It’d be a perfect ending to this nightmare, which involves haggling over organs removed from babies’ crushed chest cavities, if the law came down hard on the side that exposed it rather than the one that’s responsible.
The Obama administration is connected to at least one of the Planned Parenthood doctors in the video. Nucatola is an Obama administration adviser and she also serves on the board of a pro-abortion sex ed group founded by a former Obama administration official and whose board includes current Obama administration staff.
Reacting to the video, President Barack Obama’s top spokesman Josh Earnest indicated Obama will definitely not agree with pro-life Republicans in Congress to revoke funding for the Planned Parenthood abortion business.
Obama has spoken before Planned Parenthood’s national conference, the abortion giant endorsed and worked closely with Obama and his administration, and its CEO Cecile Richards has hobnobbed with Obama at White House functions.
A total of 8 states have already launched an investigation including Kansas, Missouri, Arizona, Indiana, Ohio, Georgia, Texas and Louisiana. Meanwhile, Iowa’s governor has launched a review to ensure Planned Parenthood doesn’t receive taxpayer funding.
In the video, Nucatola is at a business lunch with actors posing as buyers from a human biologics company. As head of PPFA’s Medical Services department, Nucatola has overseen medical practice at all Planned Parenthood locations since 2009. She also trains new Planned Parenthood abortion doctors and performs abortions herself at Planned Parenthood Los Angeles up to 24 weeks.
Nucatola admits that Planned Parenthood charges per-specimen for baby body parts, uses pseudo-partial-birth abortion procedures in order to get salable parts, and is aware of their own liability for doing so and takes steps to cover it up.

The footage shockingly depicts the top medical official at the Planned Parenthood corporation munching on her salad while she discusses the sale of body parts of unborn children victimized by abortions. She brazenly describes how the heads of unborn babies killed in abortions command top dollar.
The buyers ask Nucatola, “How much of a difference can that actually make, if you know kind of what’s expected, or what we need?”

“It makes a huge difference,” Nucatola replies. “I’d say a lot of people want liver. And for that reason, most providers will do this case under ultrasound guidance, so they’ll know where they’re putting their forceps. The kind of rate-limiting step of the procedure is calvarium. Calvarium—the head—is basically the biggest part.”
Nucatola explains, “We’ve been very good at getting heart, lung, liver, because we know that, so I’m not gonna crush that part, I’m gonna basically crush below, I’m gonna crush above, and I’m gonna see if I can get it all intact.”
“And with the calvarium, in general, some people will actually try to change the presentation so that it’s not vertex,” she continues. “So if you do it starting from the breech presentation, there’s dilation that happens as the case goes on, and often, the last step, you can evacuate an intact calvarium at the end.”
In a video response to the heavy criticism, Planned Parenthood CEO Cecile Richards apologizes for the tone the Nucatola took but not for selling the body parts of aborted babies.
Dr. Nucatola said, “You’re just kind of cognizant of where you put your graspers, you try to intentionally go above and below the thorax, so that, you know, we’ve been very good at getting heart, lung, liver, because we know that, so I’m not gonna crush that part, I’m going to basically crush below, I’m gonna crush above, and I’m gonna see if I can get it all intact.”
The abortionist also explains that Planned Parenthood charges per-specimen for baby body parts and is aware of their own liability for doing so. When asked about a price, she said, “I would say it’s probably anywhere from $30 to $100, depending on the facility and what’s involved.” Unbelievably, she admits that some body parts, such as livers and heads, are much more popular and go for a higher price than other specimen.
David Daleiden, the founder of the group Center for Medical Progress told CBS News, “Planned Parenthood is still receiving $50, $75, sometimes $100 per specimen per fetal part. So all of that is just straight up profit that goes to their bottom line.”
