On July 15, Rev. Franklin Graham said that those who perform abortions have “no conscience.” According to The Christian Post, his comments came after undercover footage showed Planned Parenthood’s Senior Director of Medical Services, Dr. Deborah Nucatola, describing how Planned Parenthood sells the body parts of aborted unborn children.
On Facebook, Graham wrote, “Abortion is a sin and is clearly murder in God’s eyes. The people who perform it have no conscience, so I’m not at all surprised that they would be selling organs, tissue, and body parts from babies. Planned Parenthood should be put out of business. They’ve done enough damage.”
He added, “Sin has an enormous price. Our nation will one day have to answer to God for the millions of innocent lives taken by abortion, and that applies to every politician who voted for and defended abortion. Thankfully though, no sin is too great for God’s forgiveness — even murder.”
As LifeNews previously reported, so far over two million people have seen the Planned Parenthood video and nearly every Republican candidate for president has expressed outrage toward it and called on Congress to defund the abortion giant. In the video, Dr. Nucatola explains that Planned Parenthood sometimes alters their abortion procedures to ensure high-quality “specimen” for organ harvesting.

She said, “You’re just kind of cognizant of where you put your graspers, you try to intentionally go above and below the thorax, so that, you know, we’ve been very good at getting heart, lung, liver, because we know that, so I’m not gonna crush that part, I’m going to basically crush below, I’m gonna crush above, and I’m gonna see if I can get it all intact.”
Additionally, Dr. Nucatola said that Planned Parenthood charges per-specimen for baby body parts and is aware of their own liability for doing so. When asked about a price, she said, “I would say it’s probably anywhere from $30 to $100, depending on the facility and what’s involved.” Unbelievably, she admits that some body parts, such as livers and heads, are much more popular and go for a higher price than other specimen.
Unfortunately, Planned Parenthood responded to the video by saying they are sorry about Dr. Nucatola’s “tone” but not for selling the body parts of abortion babies. In a video message, Planned Parenthood’s CEO, Cecile Richards said, “In the video, one of our staff members speaks in a way that does not reflect that compassion. This is unacceptable and I personally apologize for the staff member’s tone and statements. As always, if there’s ever any aspect of our work that can be strengthened, we want to know about it, and take swift action to address it.” Later she adds, “I want to be really clear. The allegation that Planned Parenthood profits in any way from tissue donation is not true.”
However, regardless of the legality of their sales, the fact that Planned Parenthood caters procedures for organ harvesting questions their true intent. Dr. Arther Caplain from NYU’s Langone Medical Center said, “You’ve got to be sure that it’s the patient, the woman who is at the center of your concern and nothing else is diverting from that. Supplying fetal tissue from the remains to third parties is diverting. I would not do it.”
