Apparently fire hydrants can do more than help put out fires, they can help women kill their unborn babies in Chile.

According to the New York Daily News, an abortion group called Miles has published an “abortion tutorial” that shows women how to get around the pro-life country’s abortion ban by throwing themselves onto a fire hydrant to induce an “accidental abortion.” The idea is to cut up the heel pair of a high-heeled shoe to make it appear that that woman in question has accidentally fallen over and hits her stomach against the fire hydrant with enough force to cause a miscarriage.

The outrageous video already has over 321,000 views and more likes than dislikes on YouTube. Some viewers are reporting the vieo to YouTube in an effort to get it removed because it promotes violence against women and children.

Chile is one of many countries in the world that ban abortion entirely and they’ve been better off because of it.

As LifeNews previously reported, Dr. Elard Koch, the Director of Research of the MELISA Institute says that since Chile banned abortion in 1989, the number of maternal deaths has decreased from 41.3 to 12.7 per 100,000 women. Dr. Koch believes that the data “suggests that support programs directed to vulnerable women can prevent most induced abortions.”

He adds, “The Chilean experience represents a paradox in our times: even under a less permissive abortion legislation, maternal health indicators can be significantly improved by other factors, including a noteworthy reduction in mortality and morbidity associated to abortion.”

Additionally, Chile is considered to be a world leader in maternal health. Dr. Kock explains, “The high quality of Chilean vital statistics indicates these findings are unlikely to be the result of an artifact of the registry system. Rather, a decrease in hospital discharges due to complications from illegal abortion appears to explain virtually all the reduction in hospital discharges due to any type of abortion in Chile during the last decade. Not only are women not seeking abortions outside proper healthcare facilities, the number of women seeking abortions is declining.”

Unfortunately, this abortion tutorial isn’t the first one published by the pro-abortion group. In May, they published a video that encouraged women to throw themselves down a flight of stairs to induce an abortion or to jump in front of a moving vehicle.
