Mark and Maureen already had three children of their own but felt that God was calling them to adopt. Unfortunately, it took two-years for their baby to arrive and when she did she was sent to Neonatal Intensive Care Unit because she was having trouble breathing. Her health was so bad that there were times they didn’t know if she would survive.
However, Mark and Maureen kept praying that she would get better and didn’t leave her side. In total, she spent ten days in the hospital before she was able to go home. The couple named their daughter Olivia and are praising God that she is healthy.
Maureen said, “There’s a supernatural thing that happens when you adopt, they feel like your own. There’s no difference”
