On March 5, Tim Gunn from Project Runway will be headlining a luncheon for Planned Parenthood of South Texas. Gunn recently admitted that initially he was hesitant about accepting an offer to speak because of his “gun-toting and conservative Christen thinking.”

However, then he realized that they do so much “good” he just couldn’t turn them down. He said, “When I found out what Planned Parenthood in South Texas does, I was blown away…I’m thrilled and honored to be there. I can’t wait.”

To put it mildly, I don’t think Gunn looked very far to learn about Planned Parenthood’s history. If he did, he would have realized that not only are they the largest abortion business in America, they’ve also been involved in some serious scandals.

For example, in Colorado, a woman sued Planned Parenthood after they left pieces of her baby’s dismembered body parts in her uterus. According to the patient’s complaint, she told the abortionist in the surgical procedure room that she did not want to move forward with the abortion because she hadn’t received the promised anesthetic prior to the procedure. The abortionist assured her that the anesthetic would be administered, turned on the vacuum machines, and told her it was too late to stop. Unbelievably, the abortionist proceeded while the woman, fully awake, was forced to feel the full pain of the procedure against her will. The abortionist stopped after seven minutes and sent her home with pain pills.

Additionally, a mother sued Planned Parenthood after they failed to inquire about suspected sexual abuse of her thirteen-year-old daughter.

In 2012, the girl visited Planned Parenthood with her stepfather, who had been abusing her since she was six. They abortion giant performed the abortion and sent the girl right back to her abuser.

Furthermore, in 2013 Planned Parenthood Gulf Coast had to pay the state of Texas $4.3 million for fraudulently overbilling the taxpayer funded Medicaid program. There have been reports of this happening in other states as well, such as California, New York, New Jersey and Washington.

Honestly, just one of these scandals should cause a person to distrust Planned Parenthood. I think it’s safe to say that Gunn should reconsider his proud support of an organization that gets away will stealing tax-payer funding, killing babies, maiming women and hurting our children.
