It seems as if there are no depths to which some men will sink when a woman refuses to abort their baby—and even if they do.

ABC News 4 reported Monday that Officer Sierra Shivers, a member of the North Charleston, South Carolina police Department, has been placed on unpaid administrative leave while authorities investigate allegations of “criminal domestic violencsierrashiverse” against a woman who was ten weeks pregnant.

More specifically

The victim told deputies she had been 10 weeks pregnant with Shivers’ baby and he’s been pushing her to have an abortion, threatening to have her loved ones arrested with planted evidence if she didn’t comply.

But having the abortion did not save the unnamed woman from violence, according to the local ABC News affiliate.

The woman told police that Shivers drove her to a clinic where she had the abortion. It was on the way back to the Extended Stay America hotel “where the victim told them that Shivers had physically assaulted her”–allegedly punching her multiple times. Because Shivers is a member of the North Charleston Police Department. Charleston County Sheriff’s deputies, who had also responded to the hotel scene, are handling the investigation.

Shivers’ bond was set at $2,505.

She went through with the procedure and it was on the way back to the hotel that he punched her multiple times.
