Planned Parenthood Covers Up Child Rape But Attacks Pro-Life Greg Abbott on Rape

This week Planned Parenthood launched a series of web ad attacks claiming that candidate for Texas Governor Greg Abbot refused to give rape victims justice. They made this claim to trash Abbott and to discourage people from voting for him in the governor’s race.

plannedparenthood85The ad is about a woman who was raped by a Kirby vacuum salesperson in her Texas home in 1993. The victim and her husband sued the Kirby Corporation and the case eventually made its way to the Supreme Court. At the time, Abbot was a Texas Supreme Court Judge and voted against imposing liability on the Kirby Corporation for the woman’s rape.

Sarah Rumph, a writer for Breitbart.com said the following about the case:

The Court ruled in favor of the victim, but Abbott and two other justices disagreed, finding that the contractual relationship between Kirby and the distributor who hired the salesman was insufficient to impose liability on Kirby for the actions of the salesman. Note that this was what is called a “dissenting” opinion, as opposed to the majority opinion, which is the actual law from the case. Here, the victim was able to sue the Kirby Corporation and was awarded damages. Additionally, this case had no bearing on the criminal case against the rapist and had no effect on his conviction or sentence.

Not only is the ad about Abbott misleading and incorrect, it is hypocritical considering the fact that Planned Parenthood has been caught covering up countless rape incidents in the past. In 2010, Planned Parenthood covered up the rape of a 14-year girl who was brought to their Ohio facility by her 22-year old soccer coach.

In 2011, a Planned Parenthood facility in Arizona failed to properly report a case of statutory rape, which allowed the rapist to rape as many as 18 or more teenage girls. And the most recent case of the abortion giant’s misconduct involved a 13-year-old girl in Colorado who was being abused by her stepfather when she became pregnant. When the stepfather found out, he brought her to Planned Parenthood for a secret abortion. In June, the girl’s mother filed a lawsuit against the abortion business for failing to report suspected child abuse.

Additionally, Lila Rose, the founder of Live Action, has released numerous videos since 2007 proving that Planned Parenthood facilities across America cover up cases of statutory rape.

In a previous article published on LifeNews, Mark Crutcher, the head of the pro-life group Life Dynamics said, “The abortion lobby is engaged in a pedophile protection racket and protecting pedophiles who rape underage girls.” He continued: These abortion clinics receive money from the federal government. We are literally paying for the rape of our young daughters.”

But the unresolved question is how does Planned Parenthood convince so many people that they are a good organization?

First, they rank in millions of dollars by selling abortion to hurting women and use that money to launch media campaigns about all of their “life-saving” services.

Then they dedicate funds to electing pro-abortion legislators and lying about pro-lifers like the one attacking Greg Abbott. They also manage to elicit the support of big name foundations like March of Dimes, the American Cancer Society and the Spina Bifida Association.

Ultimately, their money allows them to deceive thousands of people making it all the more important that the U.S. government defunds Planned Parenthood, and that pro-lifers expose the truth behind the largest abortion business in America.
