Remember that award a Planned Parenthood abortion business received for increasing the number of babies it killed in abortions? Some LifeNews readers wondered whether the award was real.
Apparently it is, as the Planned Parenthood affiliate that gave the award has confirmed it did so.
“So remember when I posted this photo that we received from a former Planned Parenthood worker? And remember that we said that this was an award for increasing their abortion numbers at the Aurora abortion clinic?” she wrote. “Well, Planned Parenthood has responded and has confirmed that, YES, this is an award that was given out by them. And, YES, they will continue to “celebrate their progress and they always will.”
At the Planned Parenthood affiliate web page, the abortion business says:
Political groups with an extreme agenda took to social media this week to claim they’ve found proof that Planned Parenthood has “quotas” for how many abortions the organization should provide. The entire basis of their claim was a photo of a certificate that Planned Parenthood of the Rocky Mountains gave to a health center for increasing its abortion services – which these groups blasted as “sickening” and “appalling.”
First, and plainly, Planned Parenthood does not have “quotas” for any of our services.
The abortion business clearly acknowledges the aware in euphemistic terms without saying abortion:
We aim to expand access to all of our services, and we commend our dedicated, passionate staff when they succeed in reaching more people who need care.
And, yes, we absolutely do celebrate our progress in ensuring that more people have access to the full range of reproductive health care, including abortion. And we always will.
Regarding the claim Planned Parenthood doesn’t have abortion quotas, it’s contradicted by the fact that former Planned Parenthood affiliates have quit precisely because the abortion business is requiring it’s affiliates to do abortions. And former staff have admitted it has abortion quotas.
