Baby Marcos’s parents were desperate when they walked up to an abortion facility in Spain, jobless and worried that they could not afford a fifth child.

But hope appeared in the form of a group of pro-lifers with the organization Más Futuro, which provides financial support and other assistance to help pregnant and parenting mothers choose life for their unborn babies, according to Live Action News.

Más Futuro “was the answer I needed from God to continue with my pregnancy,” mother María Elena Cabrera said. “After a hard birth, when I held Marcos in my arms for the first time, I felt a lot of emotion and I realized that it was worth it.”

On Sunday, Marcos and 13 other babies who were saved from abortions were baptized at the San Josemaría Escrivá Parish in the Diocese of Getafe in Spain, according to the report.

Bishop Ginés García Beltrán, who performed the baptisms, said God has loved each one of the babies since they were conceived in their mothers’ wombs.

“When I see a baby, one says what a miracle life is!” Beltrán said. “From conception we are that perfect being. None of us here were born by chance.

“These children that you present to the Church today have been thought of and loved by God, before all centuries. I have been thought of by God before all centuries,” the bishop continued, according to the report. “I am not a coincidence, but the fruit of a project of love, the love of God. And this has to shake us.”

The diocese also highlighted the work of Más Futuro and the Rescatadores Juan Pablo II, pro-life organizations that provide financial support and other assistance to help pregnant mothers choose life for their babies, according to Live Action.

All across the world, pro-life advocates provide compassion and support to pregnant mothers in need. They encourage and walk alongside families through difficulties and help mothers and fathers recognize that their unborn babies are valuable human beings who deserve to live.
