Nathan Trapuzzano was a young 24-year-old man who served as a sidewalk counselor at a local abortion clinic in Indiana and had a baby on the way. Tragically, he was murdered in a shooting while out walking his neighborhood.

Eight months pregnant, Jennifer revealed she told Nathan, 24, that she wouldn’t be able to live without him. As they embraced, he laughed, hugged her, felt their baby kick and told her not to “be silly.” A short time later, while jogging outside of a store, he was mugged and shot and killed.

As Jennifer wrote on Facebook: “Today in the Catholic Church, we celebrated the canonization into sainthood of two wonderful popes, Pope John Paul II and Pope John XXIII, on this most special Divine Mercy Sunday. As we celebrate this great day, I would like to share another great celebration – Miss Cecilia Marie Trapuzzano is here Born April 25th.”

“We are both home now and are doing so well. She has provided me with so many smiles already. I can feel Nate smiling down on us and am so grateful for this most wonderful gift he blessed me with. Thank you all so much for your continued prayers, I am so humbled by how many have reached out to us and shown us so much love. The prayers were especially appreciated as I brought our little girl into this world,” she added.

trapuzzano2In a previous interview, Jennifer revealed Nathan believed one of the world’s greatest crimes was the number of babies growing up without a father.

Heartbreakingly, Jennifer said: “I rolled onto my left side and he rolled over and put his arm around me because he wanted to feel his baby girl, that’s the last thing I remember. I woke up the next morning and he was gone.”

The pro-life community has rallied around Nathan’s family and has raised more than $172,000 for his wife and unborn baby. Funds donated here will cover baby expenses for Trapuzzano’s wife Jennifer, who is eight months pregnant with their daughter Cecilia, as well as the young man’s funeral.

Simeon Adams, a 16-year-old nicknamed ‘Red’ with a long criminal history was charged with his murder.
