NAACP Florida State Conference partnered with the Florida Alliance of Planned Parenthood and National Organization for Women, two groups that push abortion rights.
Planned Parenthood is the largest chain of abortion clinic in the Unites States and they locate their clinics in minority communities. They were founded in Eugenics and by a racist named Margaret Sanger.

In Feb of 2014 the NAACP joined with Planned Parenthood for another Moral Monday March march.
In 2013, Melissa Reed of Planned Parenthood Action Fund spoke at a NAACP rally to celebrate the 2013 March on Washington to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the famous I have a Dream speech of Martin Luther King.
NAACP NC Raleigh, Melissa Reed of NC Planned Parenthood gathered in North Carolina at the Moral Monday “Remembering the Dream” protest.
In July of 2013, Rev. William J. Barber, president of the North Carolina chapter of the NAACP and Melissa Reed, vice president of public affairs for Planned Parenthood of Central North Carolina, came together to protest House Bill 695. Opponents contended the bill threatens to close all but one abortion clinic in the state, prohibit insurance companies from offering policies with abortion coverage, and criminalize doctors who provide such treatment.
