Bullying has been a problem – especially for the young – as long as people have been on Earth. But now with the anonymity of social media, there is nothing to slow down the first mean impulse that can cross someone’s mind.

Shea Shahan of Plano, Texas had a severe injury to the frontal lobes of her brain  due to a lack of oxygen when she was born. She had many seizures during her first 14 days as a newborn, and many more since. Recently the mentally challenged 18-year old has also received many vicious messages on her iPhone.

Shea’s mother Keri fought back with a Facebook page.

Here is a report from KDFW of Dallas:

Glenn Beck, the father of a daughter with cerebral palsy,  expressed his outrage at the story and interviewed both mother and daughter.

They were also interviewed by Mike Huckabee.

LifeNews.com Note: Jill Stanek fought to stop “live birth abortions” after witnessing one as an RN at Christ Hospital in Oak Lawn, Illinois. That led to the Born Alive Infants Protection Act legislation, signed by President Bush, that would ensure that proper medical care be given to unborn children who survive botched abortion attempts.
