California Planned Parenthood Now Hiring Nurses to Do Abortions

California Governor Jerry Brown opened up the state to allow nurses to do abortions and put women’s health at risk by killing and injuring them with botched abortions in the same way abortion doctors already do.

Under the law Brown signed, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, and nurse midwives will perform first-trimester aspiration abortions.

Anissa Smith, spokeswoman for the California Pro-Life Council, said at the time Brown signed the bill: “This bill is not about helping women, it is specifically designed to trivialize what an abortion is, and its risks. It is political payoff to a government-sponsored industry that preys on minors without parent knowledge or consent. Reducing the medical standards for abortion, both in the personnel and the sanitary conditions required, defies logic for those who say they care about women.”

Now, the Planned Parenthood abortion business is posting jobs to hire nurses with less medical training than licensed physicians to do abortions. From the California Catholic:

The following was emailed to Cal Catholic by a reader on Oct. 28. The above chart from Daily Job Alert in Sacramento shows the results of the signing of AB 154 by Jerry Brown on October 9.

The chart shows jobs advertised for nurse practitioners (NP) in Modesto, Madera, Manteca, Tracy, and Bakersfield on October 28.

The Planned Parenthood abortion business has already injured women in botched abortions in California, even though they were done by licensed physicians.

In her comments opposing the bill, Smith noted that the California Business and Professions Code prohibits abortions being done on animals unless the abortionist is a trained and certified veterinary surgeon.

“As of today, a mother dog will have more dignity in the eyes of California law than a vulnerable young mother talked into an abortion by a Planned Parenthood staffer,” Smith said, adding, “Gov. Brown’s sponsorship and unquestioning support of the abortion industry is tragic.”

The legislation was introduced by Assemblywomen Toni Atkins, the former administrator of a failed abortion business in San Diego. Atkins has long attempted to dangerously expand abortion services, once opening an abortion clinic in a predominately Hispanic neighborhood (using an abortionist that would later lose his medical license after killing a woman during a botched 20-week abortion) that soon closed due to financial mismanagement and lack of business. Apparently not one to learn from failure, Adkins is now expanding abortion in an ever-decreasing market, through the use of non-physicians.
