Cory Booker Misleads About His Extreme Abortion Position

Cory Booker’s abortion extremism is the focus of this new video.

During Friday night’s senatorial debate, pro-life Steve Lonegan called out Booker for his support for late-term abortions at the expense of taxpayers.

In a private “endorsement memo” to America’s largest abortion provider, Planned Parenthood — leaked via an open Google group — Booker said: “I oppose the Partial-Birth Abortion Ban Act and the Supreme Court’s dramatic break from precedent in upholding it.”

Similarly, Booker received coaching from NARAL Pro-Choice American on how to best answer their questionnaire item on taxpayer funding of abortion. NRO’s Eliana Johnson outlined how NARAL advised the Booker campaign that his original answer to their questionnaire did not demonstrate sufficient support for forcing taxpayers to pay for abortion.

Booker’s abortion position as well as his cozy relationship with Planned Parenthood and NARAL was also the topic of a recent piece by SBA List President Marjorie Dannenfelser which appeared yesterday at National Review’s The Corner.

SBA List jointly released a web ad with American Commitment Action Fund in August. The ad exposed the fact that, as Co-Chair of the Democratic National Convention’s Platform Committee, Booker oversaw the removal of the word “rare,” from previous platforms that said abortion should be “safe, legal, and rare.”

Booker is being deliberately dishonest on the question of abortion.
