Pro-Life Group’s Web Site Faces Cyber Attack With Hundreds of Fake Donations

Stand True, a national pro-life youth organization, faced a cyberattack on its web site last night with attackers attempting to overload its web site and donation system with hundreds of fake transactions.

Bryan Kemper, the head of Stand True, tells LifeNews more about what happened. Ultimately, the donation processing company stopped the attacks and solved the situation.

“Praise God! Our processing company was able to thwart the online attacks and block the cyber attackers,” Kemper said.

From Kemper’s email to LifeNews:

Starting late last night an attack was launched against our online donation page with an auto script attempting to process what are probably stolen credit cards. We have a minimum donation amount set as one of our protections which is usually never exceeded in attacks like this. However at least one of these charges got through but in catching it so soon we were able to have it voided. This could be a nightmare if multiple charges got through and we were not able to reverse or void them on time.

We are blessed to use https://www.prolifeprocessing.com which is a pro-life company who is committed to never process for pro-choice or porn sites. They take care of us very well and provide amazing service as they actually care about our mission and message.

I know our Stand True Mission Team has made huge impact around the nation this summer and the pro-abortion side was not happy as we saw with the hundreds of vile comments left on our you tube page after being in Austin for the passing of HB1. These young pro-life warriors give their whole summer for the pro-life cause and rely on the donations that come into Stand True to be able to travel the country and do this work. With a trip to Philadelphia coming in just a couple of weeks as part of the Cry for Dignity event surrounding the babies that were killed by Gosnell, these donations are vital.

I am confident that Pro-life Processing will keep our page secure and we will be able to accept the donations we need to continue to fight for the end of abortion.
