Planned Parenthood of the Rocky Mountains, which runs abortion businesses or abortion referral clinics in Colorado, Nevada, New Mexico Wyoming, and Utah, is closing two centers in Colorado.

One clinic that will be closed operated on the east side of Colorado Springs.

The abortion company called the closings “difficult yet strategic,” and cited a new center on the west side of Colorado Springs as the reason for the closure of the east side location. PPRM said the closures were the consolidation of its 23 centers.

“Effective Sept. 1, PPRM’s Eastside health center in Colorado Springs in addition to PPRM’s La Junta location will close,” it said. ” These closures were carefully made to minimize impact and any gap in care to our patients. In Colorado Springs, our new, spacious Westside health center has the capacity to serve all patients from our Eastside location and more. In La Junta, three federally qualified health centers are nearby offering low-cost family planning services and women’s health in addition to PPRM’s health center in Pueblo.”

The Planned Parenthood abortion business in Denver, Colorado appears to have tried to hidden the fact that it botched an abortion on a woman so badly that it had to transport her to a local hospital.

Operation Rescue informed LifeNews in March that an ambulance quietly slipped into the parking lot of Planned Parenthood in Denver in the late afternoon of Tuesday, March 5, where it loaded up an abortion patient, and slipped out again. The ambulance ran without lights or sirens an in attempt to conceal what happened.

Local pro-life activist Rosalinda Lozano snapped a photo of the incident. She told Operation Rescue that the ambulance arrived around 5:00 p.m. and stayed about 20 minutes before finally leaving at around 5:20 p.m.

That was the second medical emergency documented at the Stapleton Planned Parenthood abortion clinic located on 38th Avenue in Denver in the past few months. On October 26, 2012, an ambulance transported a hemorrhaging woman to a local hospital, according to a 911 Computer Aided Dispatch Transcript released to Operation Rescue by local pro-life activists.

In the previous botched abortion at the Denver Planned Parenthood, the heavily redacted CAD Transcript indicates that a woman was transported from Planned Parenthood using Code 2, which denotes a serious, but not immediately life-threatening condition. The transcript used medical codes that indicated the woman suffered a severe hemorrhage related to an ectopic pregnancy.

The news comes after the closing of abortion clinics and referral centers in Texas. Interestingly, none of the local stories on those closures mentioned the $4.3 million the Texas Planned Parenthood affiliate committed in fraud.

Texas Attorney General Greg Abbott announced on July 24 that his office had obtained a $1.4 million settlement against Planned Parenthood Gulf Coast for Medicaid fraud, with the settlement to be split between the state of Texas, the federal government, and the whistleblower (former PPGC employee Karen Reynolds).

It turns out the AG was apparently only announcing his state’s cut. The total settlement is actually $4.3 million – almost $3 million more than previously known.

While Planned Parenthood talks about women’s health, the bill Perry signed does more to protect their health.

The 20-week abortion ban was the major focus of the bill, but the legislation also places stricter health and safety regulations on abortion clinics — which has forced many abortion clinics in other states that can’t guarantee they can protect the health of women to close.

Planned Parenthood has botched abortions in numerous states, including Delaware, Colorado, and Missouri, for example. This week is the anniversary of the death of Tonya Reaves, a black woman who died at a Planned Parenthood in Chicago following a failed abortion.
