Reports surfaced today that NBA player J.J. Redick and his then-pregnant ex-girlfriend, model Vanessa Lopez, had an odd legal contract that called for her to have an abortion. Reddick would then pay her to pretend to stay in a relationship.

It was drafted by the Orlando Magic in the 2006 NBA Draft and now plays for the Los Angeles Clippers after spending time with the Milwaukee Bucks. On June 26, 2010, Redick married longtime girlfriend Chelsea Kilgore.

The alleged contract was reportedly drawn up in 2007 and it had Reddick agreeing to continue to date Lopez in exchange for aborting their baby.

The contract stipulated that “any contact between the two after the ‘relationship’ has reached its conclusion would be considered stalking.”

According to news reports, the document “is essentially a contract that seems to be the result of Redick and Lopez negotiating how the latter’s impending abortion should be handled.” In the document Lopez agreed to undergo an abortion on the condition that Redick agree to maintain a “relationship” with for one year and then pay her $25,000 if she dumped him.

MediaTakeOut.com just got its hand on an “abortion contract” that JJ Reddick entered into with his girlfriend at the time, Vanessa Lopez.

The two got their LAWYERS to sit down and agree that if Vanessa had an abortion, then JJ would agree to “attempt” to be in a relationship with her. And if after “attempting” to be in a relationship, they break up after one year – he’d pay her $25K.
