Today Students for Life of America (SFLA) launched the “Students #Stand4Life Bus Tour” to Austin, Texas, for the conclusion of the special session of the Texas legislature.

SFLA set out on a 30 hour ride from Washington, DC this morning for a weeklong tour to support the more than 35 Texas Students for Life groups and numerous pro-life Texans on the ground at the State Capitol.

Our Texas student groups are mobilized against Planned Parenthood and ready to deal them the first of many defeats to ensure abortionists are forced to live up to basic health standards. The national spotlight is on Planned Parenthood, and the eyes of thousands of Texas pro-lifers and millions of pro-life Americans are on Austin.

Planned Parenthood wants to continue to protect monsters such as Gosnell, while Americans are finally coming to terms with the horror of abortion and what it is doing to our communities and our generation.  Planned Parenthood’s 40 year party on the taxpayer dime is over. Our message is simple. No more Kermit Gosnells.

On Sunday morning, students from as far as New York and Ohio traveled to D.C. to catch the Students #Stand4Life bus, which will also make stops and pick up more students along the way in Nashville, Knoxville, Memphis, Little Rock, and Dallas. On Monday, the Bus Tour will meet up with even more pro-life students at the Texas State Capitol who have flown and driven from states like Iowa, New Mexico, and Oregon to back up their fellow pro-life Texans.
